credit score credit card balances
Credit score is 580 because credit card balances are too high if i pay them off how long before it goes up?
most credit cards at at 90% usage going to pay them down to 10 to 15% usage this month.
I would recommend the following. Pay your high interest cards away. Leave a few (the less the better) low interest for making payments. This will increase your score, but you will still be building it with regular payments.
The score changes approximately monthly, so you will see the change very soon in your score.
Also, if you want to keep it as impecable as possible, don’t run your score to check it unless you use your yearly free option through the latest government ruling. This will avoid getting dinged a little from someone running your credit. Everytime you run your credit it goes down a little and it takes 6 months to dissapear.
